Oishii Umai - Set of 2

The Oishii  & Umai Set - 2 plates. 'Oishii' is a traditional way of expressing deliciousness in Japanese (my obaasan used to say it after a meal). 'Umai' is a casual way of expressing that something is tasty. Please note, this set is designed to be mismatched with different text colours. 
 
Handmade using a natural, textured, stoneware clay.
Hand-built and carefully manipulated to create a functional, organic form. 
Hand-painted using various a gloss glazes with black/tan text.
